Planning and conducting research activities in India Preparing research proposals, funding applications/bids Serve as the contact person for FiBL partners and their pilot partners, supporting the overall implementation of the Seeding the Green Future (SGF) project and other ongoing programs in India Supervising research staff/technicians, and liaising with project partners and donors Periodic field monitoring visits and trial evaluation , Data Management & reporting

• Strategic leadership/consultation ensuring an appropriate program or project management framework & managing junior, middle and top-level project staff. • Prepare the program brief, project initiation documents or equivalent and business case among other documents. • Support international partnerships, collaboration and agreements

• Develop crop establishment methodology. • Conduct large scale block demonstrations. • Outreach to farmers optimized to shorten the time of adoption. • Tolerance Screening for AG and Complete Submergence, identification of donors for tolerance in set of genotypes by studying physiological traits • Screening & evaluation of weed competitive cultivars significant for Direct Dry and Wet Seeding System (DDS & DWS)

• To ensure assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines. • Conducting gap analysis, need assessment, feasibility studies and create business plans. • To prepare detailed cost estimates and documentation for project. • To interacts and liaison with governmental branches and regulatory agencies • To monitor and evaluate project progress and ensuring quality of project

• Teaching, course co-ordination and curriculum development • Planning, budgeting, scheduling, recruitment, implementation and the complete project management (achieving mile stones and key deliverables)

Formulation of State-wise perspective plan for the holistic development of the rainfed areas containing item-wise proposals with financial and physical targets. Preparation, implementation and critical review of pilot projects addressing areas of convergence and coordination. To undertake the research and subject matter studies and results of these studies to be documented and monitored. Monitoring and Evaluation of Effectiveness of programs/schemes

• Designing the curriculum, course material and developing modules for management. • Teaching and online lecturing through the broadcast services by IGNOU, i.e. E- Gyankosh. • Assisting in various ongoing programs like conferences, seminars, symposiums.

• Manage academic and administrative affairs in the college • Teaching & consultancy

Teach undergrad students and to assist the project coordinator in their respective projects and research activities under All India Coordinated Crop Research Project in Floriculture
