I developed algorithms which extracted the traffic pattern parameters such as average speed per link of a route and acceleration of a region. The Algorithm used data from the navigation system and CAN messages. The processed data is used to predict the fuel consumption of the vehicle along a route for fuel optimization. The work involved data processing and analysis using innovative mathematical techniques and was implemented using Python programming and tools .
