Direct report to the AGM, responsible for managing a large team, encompassing the warehouse & VAS functions 7 contracts worth a combined £10.6m, within a 24/5 automated & bonded warehouse Manage a site team of circa 80 Core team members plus upto 180 Agency employees across 3 shifts through a management team of 16 H&S - Operational management Planning of labour within all warehouse & warehouse admin functions Analysis & interpretation of data Change management Customer service

Shift Manager – direct report to Operations Manager, responsible for managing a multi-skilled workforce through departmental Team Leaders. Designing, implementing & subsequently adapting KPI & planning tools, for pro-active planning and operational monitoring/reporting. Data analysis/interpretation & management information collation. Ad-hoc analytical work for Wincanton customer strategy workstreams. Creation of Key Account Plan in conjunction with Contract GM.

Shift Manager – direct report to the Operations Manager, managing varying shifts across all operational departments in a time critical, multi temperature environment for multiple customers. Ensuring all inbound & outbound functions/processes are carried out to standard. Resource planning. Continuous Improvement Kronos Superuser (T&A System)

Team Manager – direct report to the Shift Operations Manager, managing a team of up-to 50 FTEs & 100+ agency employees across the Pick department. Resource planning, ensuring compliance to H&S regulations, collating, analysing and acting upon data to influence KPIs. Management of FTEs attendance & development as well as conduct/performance for all of the team.

A management training programme over an 18 month duration, enabling 3 6 month placements to be completed alongside an ongoing MDP (Management Development Programme) training course completed in March 2010. Placements included - Corby Shared User, Corby - Project & process management, Stock & Systems management. Wincanton for BP LPG, Widnes - Mini-bulk LPG secondary logistics planning & routing. Wincanton for Somerfield, Lea Green - Ambient warehouse department management.
