Developed clinical tools and educational programs for Hospice & Palliative Care Interdisciplinary staff, patients and families. Programs such as: Samaritan University Day, Heart Failure Summer Festival. Clinical Liaison Boot Camp, Caregiver Program, Heart Failure Advisory Board and Focus Group, and Burlington County College course "Caring for Those We Love; The Impact of Serious Illness" to name a few. Coia coordinated over 2,000 CEU hours and developed Samaritan Hospice's "Living with Heart Failure Program

Worked on a contract with Johns Hopkins' Cardiovascular Care Initiative prior to my position as Director of Business Development and Recruiter for specialty positions such as Medical Science Liaisons and Clinical Nurse Educators.

Began at SGP as a Health Management Consultant designing, executing and implementing Respiratory, Diabetes, and Liver Health Management programs through innovative approaches to disease management principles and creative marketing strategies. Promotion to Managed Care Account Manager with responsibilities for both Managed Medicaid and Commercial Insurers with membership exceeding 4 million lives. Promoted to Managed Care Compliance Manager and Trainer.

Consulting firm involved in the design and development of educational programs and training materials for Healthcare Professionals providing CEU's. Courses included, ACLS Prep, BLS certification, Telemetry Made Easy, Physical Assessment. Training materials included, Rhythm Rounds, Courses on Tape such as ABG's Made Easy which is currently part of the curriculum for Helene Fuld School of Nursing in Camden Co. NJ.

Worked on Johnson & Johnson and Glaxo contracts.

Worked both full time and per diem from 1978 to 1996 as a Critical Care Nurse.
