Worked as a student research assistant on energy storage systems. Job responsibility was testing the performance (stored energy capacity, cycle roundtrip efficiency, response time, ramp rate, standby energy loss rate, self -discharge rate, reference signal tracking ability, state of charge excursion, applied duty cycle roundtrip efficiency) of Li-ion storage systems for PV-Grid application.

Job responsibility: • Developing an innovative test standard for Li-ion PV home storage systems. • Measurement of PV battery home system efficiency, metrological characterization of Li-ion battery, preparation of battery test programs for different topologies and performance analysis. • Making a user ranking profile for different PV battery systems based on performance.

Job responsibility: • Developing an aging model for Lithium-ion battery from the accelerated aging test. • Long-term calendar and cycling test of batteries in consideration of storage temperature, time, voltage and cycling rate. • Documentation of research analysis and results. • Market analysis of PV home storage system products and technologies in the German market.
