I was part of a team of three people developing an optical microscope for biomedical research. Using Fourier holography as an imaging technique, we were able to develop an instrument that allowed the localised characterisation of particles as small as 2um over a field of view of several mm. Applications for such an instrument include early cancer diagnosis based on the growth of cell nuclei.

  • 1 year and 2 months, Aug 2004 - Sep 2005

    Research assistant

    Universität Karlsruhe

I was a member of a team of researchers building a test vehicle for a project to evaluate the lighting systems of a car. My job was the development of control electronics for head lights including hardware, programming and development of the human machine interface on windows.
