The H2Mare project OffgridWind creates the prerequisites for integrating an electrolyser directly into a wind turbine. This requires a new type of wind turbine and a different foundation than what was previously used. OffgridWind is researching both - supplemented by the storage of the produced hydrogen and its transport to the mainland. In addition, OffgridWind simulates operation and calculates the costs over the entire life cycle of the wind turbines.
