Head of the tax department, with activities pertaining to several different fields. Development of preliminary studies on taxation of prospective company activities in the country, as well as pricing calculations for offers focusing on the tax burden; Analysis and optimization of intercompany cross border transactions (M&A), such as royalty payments, service imports and exports, dividends and interest on equity payments, and transfer pricing compliance.

• Participation in corporate restructure projects in order to optimize aspects of German Income Tax (Köpershaftsteuer); • Tax Due Diligence in Brazilian target companies; • Fiscal analysis for real estate investment in Brazil; • Lectures about Brazilian Tax Law; • Support for tax structure processes in International Tax Law; and • Tax evaluation of international permanent establishment cases in the Renewable Energy field.

• Team leadership in tax consultancy works performed on site, related to direct and indirect taxes; • Development and review of reports; • Development of memos and legal opinions to the clients; • Participation in internal training sections as a sponsor.

• Development of memos and legal opinions related to indirect taxes; • Compilation of files needed to issue Debt Clearance Certificates; • Surveillance of lawsuit evolution in court, external works at the local and federal forum, development of lawsuit pieces, etc.
