• Implemented monthly analytical reviews. • Controls and consolidated figures of 200 legal entities, prepared summary and public documents (Sales CHF 90 billion) under shorter time frame under IFRS. • Co-ordinated and updated geographic zone financial controllers on specific accounting and reporting treatments in line with existing and new IFRS standards. • Developed with General Secretary Office the first annual report on Corporate Governance in line with Swiss stock exchange (SWX) regulations.

• Defined and implemented business plan based on new commercial strategy to develop sales in France (+10% sales increase from year 2000). • Identified areas of improvement including revised allocation expenses charged to SITA Telecom from head office (350K Euros savings) and corrected invoices associated with Air France former backbone connections that were transferred to SITA as part of outsourcing deal in 1998 (300K Euros cost reductions).

• Led financial bid and active participation in negotiating takeover of telecom network (US$60 million). • Conducted due diligence work for a number of opportunities ranging from core IT / IS infrastructure to fully integrated solutions and complex project management. • Developed tools and processes for due diligence and business assessment opportunities (Business cases and risk appraisal templates in the domain of outsourcing and complex bid opportunities).

• Contributed development of management accounting system based on principles of Activity Based Costing (ABC) better understanding of cost behaviour and better visibility of net profit margins. • Implemented guidelines, procedures and templates to facilitate monthly reporting and consolidation of financials

• Actively involved in development of Financial Analysis and Simulation Tracking tool (FAST) costing in excess of US$30 million. • Delivered enhanced analysis and reviewed information from all major European markets representing sales of US$6.5 bio. • Performed fiscal analysis and simulations for Italian market to defend group's position from government proposals to increase excise tax duty (this resulted in government amendments to tax duty charges which benefited both government and Philip Morris).
