Research in organic geochemistry. Chemical workup and purification of soils and drill cores with the aim of lipid analysis and climate reconstruction. Application of GCMS, GC/FID and LCMS analysis and radio-carbon dating (14C) at the AMS (accelerator-mass spectrometry). Moreover, cryo-distillation of CO2-samples.
Assistant in the component laboratory of Toom Germany. Logistic and goods management. Development of new storing and presenting systems, as well as the live-image maintenance and planning using the programs spaceman and SAP.
