Creating space for inspiration through collective imagination.

After my residency in 2019, I'm returning at the invitation of Framer Framed with the program 'Bread Art in the Molenwijk', a celebration of various rituals surrounding bread. The program runs from March to October 2025 and consists of seven workshops focusing on the process from sowing to celebrating. Residents of the Molenwijk, along with 10 artists as co-residents, will share bread knowledge in the neighborhood. Collective stories surrounding dough recipes will be collected, and bread as cultural heritag

The course activates research methods in order to achieve an understanding of culture, society and humanity through detailed studies of local life. If we want to understand and influence the future as a designer, it’s important to know how to connect ourselves with peoples, systems, cultural behaviors and unconventional ways of seeing.

Committee member in the category of design for the national basic cultural infrastructure subsidies (BIS 2025-2029) appointed by the Dutch Council for Culture

As a culture expert I'm responsible for guidance and assessment master students at the Advanced Concept Design course by providing feedback on culture research. The course aims to create product concepts to explore and develop them in terms of usability, cultural value and technological feasibility.

Teaching Design Anthropology, Culture Sensitive Design, Participatory Action Research [PAR]: introducing generative methods with focus on sense of belonging, intersectionality, rituals and reciprocity.

Lecturing postgraduate students at CAFA School of Design the course Design Anthropology exploring daily rituals of participants and (re)designing healing products, services and interventions.

Coaching graduation students Graphic Design

Lecturing social, editorial & environmental Design.

Research about how to strengthen the design process for art & design students by using anthropological methods for cultural awareness. Evaluating regenerative methods will be part of my literature study.
