Project/block manager of a floating point unit. Circuit design, logic design, architecture, project planning, management. Member of Technical Staff in the Advanced Architecture Development Department, contract consultant with numerous groups. Design Engineer. Multiple patent award.

I was fortunate for a young person of my generation to have a number technical and programming positions at local companies. I worked for a Summer as a FORTRAN programmer at the Army Corp of Engineers, where we also had a GE225 where the boot loader was programmed in octal via toggle switches. I worked at IBM as a co-op where I designed a piece of equipment for disk head manufacturing and wrote a feasibility study for a cycle simulator. I worked at a startup doing 'presentation computers'.

Part time degree done while doing microprocessor design at AMD. Concentrated on the mathematics of computation and computer architecture. Computer Science minor.
