Active pair coder at Makers Academy. Engaged in learning test driven development using the ruby language. Working in a team to complete a wide range of projects with Sinatra and Ruby on Rails. Good working knowledge of version control including github and atlassian. Developing understanding of databases including Sql and Postgres.

I taught Latin and French and developed useful online resources to assist students in my classes. I played an active role as part of The Cedars team and was praised for my positive contribution to the school: "It has been a real pleasure working with you over the last couple of years and you will be missed at The Cedars. I hope it all goes well with your new venture and that you will keep in touch."

I taught Ancient Greek and Latin students from a wide range of backgrounds and used a variety of online techniques to aid student progress including youtube, quizlet and google classroom. Developing my knowledge of Ancient Greek with all its vast literary corpus and challenging grammar base allowed me to develop my linguistic confidence for mastering the wide range of computer languages available to modern coders.
