Conduct feasibility studies, eco charrette to incorporate sustainability and energy saving concepts into the building design at preliminary stage to harmonize client/green building requirements and concepts with infrastructure and community planning. Investigating and evaluating local and international building codes and guidelines related to energy conservation such as ASHRAE standards (189.1, 90.1, 62.1, etc), LEED and ESTIDAMA. Conducting the Commissioning as per the requirements of LEED/Estidama.

Studying contract drawings, specification, BOQ, and finalising the scope of work. Re engineering works and preparation of shop drawings. This includes raising request for information’s and technical meeting with consultants and designers. Estimation and ordering of all the materials required for the completion of work, taking care of the long lead items in co ordination with the purchase and procurement divisions.

Judging and determining of appropriate building services engineering from concept stage to design, implementation and to operation, maintenance stage ensuring safe and economical works. Design of HVAC systems, plumbing installation systems according to the standards and regulations approved by government authority. Preparation of documents for the planning commission approval.

Thesis Design and Analysis of Dry-dock Gate The Dry-dock gate was modeled and analysed using Ansys to identify the stress points during high tides to recommend the structural modifications necessary during the retrofitting at Cochin Shipyard,India.
