I worked as a research Assistant for a project in which an environmentally friendly lubricant for hot forging of steel automotive components was developed. The lubricant consisted of a hybrid solid lubricant systems dispersed in a water suspension. My task was to investigate the content of the solid lubricants on the frictional properties.

During my undergraduate study, I worked part-time voluntarily as an assistant to a PhD student in the Functional Material Ground in the College of Polymer Science and Engineering at Sichuan University. My major tasks were synthesis of epoxy-based hyper-branched thermosets using a polythiol hardener.

Investigation of the fracture behaviour of epoxy-based coatings for marine applications. The fracture behaviour of the coatings under static and fatigue loads, as well as the effect of pigments and thermal loads were understood using coating fracture mechanics.
