• Providing scientific advice, technical expertise, and research support to a team focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of a neurological ataxia mouse model. • Establishing a live cell microscopy method and ex vivo tissue imaging analysis. My responsibilities include to design and manage independent research projects and collaborations, train students, and present scientific results. I developed a proteomics method to map the proteome of neuronal connections and identified novel synaptic proteins. I have established a CRISPR/CAS9 method combined with AAV production and viral injections into mouse brain to validate these novel proteins.

• Lead author on a live cell imaging study showing that protein dynamics controls neuronal synapse function and plasticity. • Co-lead on a study that characterized a knock-in mouse model finding a novel role for alternative splicing in neurotransmission and validating a link to its pathological phenotype. • Developed advanced fluorescence microscopy methods and automated data analysis.
