I was chosen to become the first VP of IT in the history of this rapidly growing Community Bank within a tremendously competitive market. I have taken on many key initiatives for the bank including: * Overhaul and redesign of our website. * Phone system conversion to VoIP * Viability, Cost Justification & Implementation of innovative & dynamic, bank-wide state of the art Digital Signage platform * Mobile Banking Platform * Bank-wide hosted Intranet platform * Info-systems planning and Mgmt.

* Involved in all aspects of elaborating, presenting and Coordinating European Commission Funded IST Projects. * Worked as an integral part of two particular projects from inception to approval. * Traveled throughout Europe, particularly to Brussels, as a multi-lingual consultant and technical engineer.

* Coordinated and executed quality testing plans and performed in field installations of several different families of the 1353DN Alma Litespan Network Management Operating System and ancillary products. * Developed a unique test battery for the 1353DN product that was so well received that it was adopted by Alcatel Wireline throughout Spain. * Traveled extensively throughout Europe as a multi-lingual product consultant and product engineer.

Worked as QA engineer and coordinator for Telefónica's SIRIO project. This was my first IT consulting project entirely in Spanish and was a marvelous personal and professional learning experience.

Was hand-picked, sponsored and financed 100% for this study program at this prestigious local university by my consultancy following my succesful execution of my early Software QA Engineering and Coordination projects in Spain.

During my time at UMKC, when I wasn't grooming myself to become an IT geek later in life, I had the immense pleasure of studying with world renowned classical saxophonist Tim Timmons as well as all-around jazz and woodwind master Gary Foster. Music Phi Epsilon Fraternity - Vice President.
