Clean Energy Sourcing is a leading supplier of renewable electricity to industrial clients in Germany. For the year 2013 the group reported approx. EUR 765 mio. revenues (2012: EUR 667 mio.) and employed 45 at two office locations. In his role as Director IT Mr. Hey was an authorized officer with statutory authority. He signed responsible for the planning and controlling of this area's cost, personnel and investments with an approximate annual spending budget of 1.5 million Euros.

Becomac is an active member of various major European energy market places (exchanges) and offers markets access and energy logistics services to clients in the European energy wholesale markets. For the year 2012 the company reported EUR 407 mio. revenues. Mr. Hey signed responsible for the back and middle office activities of Becomac GmbH. These included risk management, finance, accounting, human resources and the management of national and international subsidiaries.

Silizium Bet. GmbH is a venture capital business bundling the interest of the key management of Clean Energy Sourcing GmbH in their joint investment in the Clean Energy Sourcing group.

Mr. Hey worked as Senior Management Consultant at Capgemini Consulting – a top 10 management consulting firm in Europe. With Capgemini he demonstrated his ability to lead diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success in a variety of highly competitive industries, cuttingedge markets, and fast-paced environments. Among others he advised his clients on the latest developments around renewable energy legislation and business opportunities.

After graduating the MBA in 2003 Mr. Hey had joined RWE group – the second largest German utility – as internal management consultant. On his various projects he proved his ability to successfully analyze an organization's critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving customer service offerings.
