Used my knack for recognizing valuable feedback and getting more of it to create a role around bringing user feedback from all possible channels into the products.

With a team of two other parents, organized a fundraising event which made over 1800 euros for the school library. Managed parent volunteers, collected donations from local businesses, built games and made small prizes with the school children

Wrote front-end specifications for designers and engineers. Synthesized user desires, designers’ expertise, and company resources to manage an extremely rapid release schedule with a remote team of up to six people. Handled all communication with users and created a Beta Tester Club which proved invaluable for QA. Drove grassroots promotion of the website. Recruited and hired consultants on an as-needed basis.

Immigrant Dolls Course. Developed, wrote, and taught a cross-curriculum after-school class covering the history of immigration in Somerville, MA. The class combined history, art, and creative writing. Students learned about their city from guest speakers, lessons, and discussions in order to write an immigrant story of their own. They then designed and hand-sewed a doll and clothing to represent the characters they had created

Created costumes in collaboration with the troupe's veteran costume designers for a premier production. New and salvaged materials were used. Responsibilities included supervision of two interns.

Wrote English subtitles for the France 2 Journal de 20 heures.
