Chemical synthesis of organic molecules and inorganic coordination compounds. Chemical and structural analysis using NMR, MS, HPLC, AAS, powder X-ray and crystallography. Surface treatment of different implant materials and their analysis with: AFM, XPS, SEM and optical microscopy. Silver nanoparticle generation using tripeptides (synthetised on solid support and in solution) and different reduction methods. Sample preparation for the different in vitro and in vivo microbiological test. Teaching tasks.

Synthesis of different phosphonic acid molecules, their analysis. Optimization of the procedure of the surface treatment of the Ti implants with the new and other known phosphonic acids Teaching: assistance in laboratory practice.

Coordinated the development of the analytical methods (principally HPLC and GC methods) for the new pharmaceutical products. Validated the new examination methods in order to meet the requirements of government authorities. Supervised a small project team during the preparation phase of a generic pharmaceutical product registration. Coordinated the work between different departments involved in this project.
