Life Estimation of Lithium-ion Battery Cells in the Context of Battery Storage Power Plant for Frequency Regulation

• Conducting tests (material tests, leakage test, air under water test, vibration test, pressure and burst test) and evaluation of results • Presentation of the test results • Thermodynamic design of oil coolers using Behr internal software • Support in prototypes production • Analysis of oil coolers failure causes claimed by the customers • Performing vacuum brazing trials to analyze brazing problems • Participation in the meeting with customers and suppliers

• Patent and literature research on Li-ion battery • Investigation on energy storage technologies for frequency regulation and their comparison • Analysis of frequency regulation data • Created macros in VBA Excel for performing calculations on frequency regulation data

• Literature Research • Support in performing wind tunnel experiments • Technical drawing using CAD software Pro E • Documentation of results

I did the detailed study of whole plant and the associated components like pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and boilers. I also supported the staff in daily operations and maintenance.
