Extraction of Salts from brine solution by using sedimentation ponds - Developed an experimental process to evaporate the waste water obtained from the Solvay process and collected the salts by using sedimentation ponds - Analyzed the parameters that effects the rate of evaporation of brine solution - Developed a relation between surface area of ponds and rate of evaporation - Studped the change in conductivity of solution before and after the evaporation of water from brine solution

- Designed a Shaft kiln to produce 150 tons/day of Lime - Designed a shaft kiln, which includes the length of cooling zone, pre-heating zone and reaction zone - Analyzed the temperature differences in each zone during the production - Calculated the pressure drop and the concentration of flue gases during the process - Analyzed the fuel and energy required to produce 150 tons of lime per day
