Escalating productivity by 15 % and inventory reduction by PULL System. VMI for packaging materials. Managed projects for SPLIT TRIMS & GRAB HANDLES for FORD OF EUROPE, CLOTH WRAPPED parts for high end GM Holden Cars Australia, Volume increase of Hyundai motors from 220K to 300K cars/annum, new model launch of Hyundai VERNA, GETZ F/L. Implemented measurable Quality Operating Systems, with focus on achieving Q1 certification from Ford & 5 Star certification from Hyundai.

Managed day-to-day shop floor operations. Played a key role in the implementation of the project, Art to part, for the Perfume manufacturing line, glass bottles lacquering, screen / pad printing and injection moulding machines. Deputed in Dubai for a month to improve performance of Dubai plant. Attained cost reduction of US$ 55,000/- p.a. for the Dubai plant.

Manager-Operations. Reporting to the Director in Hong Kong. Independent charge of the manufacturing unit looking after day-to-day operations of the plant Recruitment & training of personnel, sourcing of raw material, MIS implementation as well as systems implementation in the areas of inventory, PPC and sales. Implemented the project from scratch to installation & commissioning of machines. Liaised with all statutory bodies for registration in compliance with various acts.

Maintained the day-to-day operations of the plant with responsibilities in the areas of personnel administration, MIS implementation, inventory management, PPC, Sales, Systems implementation and liaison with customers for orders, quality and pricing. Played a key role in improving material utilization by training staff, effectuating preventive maintenance of machines & moulds.

Involved in the project from scratch to installation & commissioning of machines; apart from handling MIS implementation and training of personnel, and day-to-day affairs of the plant. Interfaced with marketing, planning, maintenance and coordinated production activities. Actively handled Design Of Experiments and trials in the Whirlpool Splotch parts moulds along with American mould supplier.

Trainee Injection & compression moulding - Promoted to Supervisor. Handled 300 different moulds for production (made in India and imported) and new mould proving trials in the span of 3+ years. Was responsible for new mould try outs made from NTTF’s Tool room & Training centre and all 100 CC two wheeler imported tools from Japan for Suzuki, Ka-wasaki, Yamaha, Kinetic Honda, Hero Honda. Improved productivity of Iron Box handle by 25 % by process improvement and got appreciation on records from MD.
