Web developing using Wordpress Translations Spanish-English and viceversa SharePoint and WordPress maintenance

Since we didn't have a design team I had the freedom to decide on the UI, this is when my interest and knowledge of UI grew exponentially.This job helped me a lot to know what my working times were and to be able to estimate how long it would take me to do exactly each requirement that the client asked for. Documentation was not an option. As for the technologies, here I worked with Ubuntu, Git, Magento 1 (since they were not standard pages but ecommerce pages), JQuery, Flexbox, SASS and HTML.

I was involved in the whole process cycle of building a system. Calls with the clients, estimating time and resources, web programming (Vanilla Javascript, HTML and CSS with their Bootstrap framework for the Frontend and SharePoint for the backend), Spring calls, client and internal documentation maintenance, manual testing of the site, UX/UI initiatives and MySQL Database maintenance. Those were my tasks during the year in this company.

I was not only as a Mandarin assistant at the Confucius Institute but I also gave private lessons at home. I taught a boy who had Attention Deficit Disorder and a girl with Asperger's Syndrome. At only 20 y/o I was faced with something completely unknown to me, the challenge was not only to teach the language but to get them interested on it. An experience that made me learn to be patient, to respect each other's time, I learned to turn frustration into an engine of motivation, positivism and effort.

I am currently finishing my last academic year to obtain my degree as an information systems analyst.
