Research in the domain of governance and innovation in local areas, such as industrial districts and metropolitan regions in the Veneto Region. The focus of my study was the connection between environmental sustainability (soil consumption, in the light of the 2000 European Landscape Convention) and economic growth in the so-called “urban jam” of North East Italy.

I was involved in the steering committee and in the work group that analysed the Veneto’s policies and attempt to reach European Lisbon goals, especially with regards to issues of local competitiveness. Collection and editing of written resources, participation in regional conferences and fairs about public administration and enterprises. The traineeship was aimed at the drafting of the Master’s degree thesis
