As a project coordinator I had to support the project manager in every task related to marketing activities in Chile and abroad, coordinate trade missions, networking between local and Chinese governmental institutions, Asian commercial offices and different sectors associations. All the activities aiming to promote international trade bonds between Chile and Asian countries.

As a market analyst I participated of two projects regarding trade promotion between Chilean and Canadian companies. In a first stage, prepare and send a complete set of market research information to each Canadian company and then coordinate business meetings between them and Chilean companies in Chile.

As a trade marketing officer I was in charge of sourcing new merchandising products in the Chinese market, meet and negotiate with prospect suppliers and also support the sales team in selection of new innovative products to offer our customers.

HKTDC in Chile acts as representative in some countries in the Latin American region, especifically Chile, Colombia and Peru. Most of the tasks I developed in this position were related to trade promotion between these three countries companies and China (HK), through organising business meetings, workshops, coordinate marketing activities, seminars, trade shows participation and support companies in sourcing new and reliable suppliers in the Chinese market.
