Built the AI stack end-to-end: generative AI pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI) & Azure; RAG for clinical evidence retrieval (Qdrant, FAISS, Azure AI Search); German medical ASR fine-tuning with synthetic data; ICD-10-GM coding & clinical-text anonymisation; agentic multi-agent workflows (LangGraph, LangChain); and LLM patient-letter generation. Devised AI product strategy, documentation, hiring support, and thesis supervision.

• Applied deep learning to digital images for classification and instance segmentation. • Designed a RAG-supported LLM pipeline to extract information from private documents. • Automatically constructed knowledge graphs from extracted document data using LLMs. • Used multimodal vision-language models to retrieve information from images via text prompts. • Designed AI agents to automate decision-making processes.

• Led end-to-end projects at Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, applying machine learning models like Random Forest and Regression Trees to predict leaf area based on environmental factors. • Collected and annotated data, focusing on delivering actionable insights and optimizing models for real-world applications. • Utilized a range of machine learning techniques to solve regression problems and achieve impactful results in the environmental sector.
