Optimization of design and operational parameters to maximize the productivity of a flat panel algal photobioreactor. Perform CFD simulations to calculate the flow profiles of liquid phase and individual cells. Created an in-house code for calculating light intensity profile by solving radiative transport equation in Matlab. Combined the above two results to calculate the productivity of the reactor. Performed the same several parameters to obtain their effect on reactor productivity.
