As the Legal Specialist of the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) in the ECA Agri-Finance Project, I am in charge of drafting the primary and secondary legislation towards establishing the Agriculture Insurance System in Kosovo. In addition, I drafted the General Conditions and Policy Schedule of the Agricultural Insurance Contracts.

In charge of providing legal assistance: drafting provisions and provide recommendations to legislative drafting of anti-corruption legislation (laws and bylaws); draft internal regulations and rules of procedure for the investigative, organizational, operational work of the Anti-Corruption Agency; Provide legal interpretations and other legal and sub-legal acts as requested.

Provide Legal Services for the Legal Aspects of the European Knowledge Transfer Society [EuKTS]; Draft Legal documents for the EuKTS; Draft the Charter and the Code of Conduct of the EuKTS; Make the necessary legal arrangements for the amendments to the Charter of the EuTKS; arrange Agreements between EuKTS and third parties; represent EuKTS in negotiations with third parties; responsible for the Intellectual Property Rights of the EuKTS; Respond to other requests of the EuKTS Steering Committee

- Research on relevant provisions of IP and innovation laws on the “ownership of the intellectual property generated in projects supported by the budget of Kosovo”; Comparative analysis of the ownership of the IP rights provisions in IP and/or innovation legislation of the EU member states and neighbour countries; Proposing the relevant law(s) to be amended; Drafting of the necessary amendments for the primary and secondary legislation.

This position was a short-term Assignment as part of the EU Technical Assistance Project ‘Further support for the development of trade in Kosovo’ where I was assigned to work on the further strengthening of the Geographical Indication System by providing expertise in drafting the product specifications for the Sharri Cheese application for the GI Protection and provide expertise for the wine sector in Kosovo.

Lecturer of four related Intellectual Property Rights courses such as Intellectual Property Rights course, European and International Patent Law course and International Protection of Intellectual Property Rights.
