Verena Hutter

Create is a motley crew of deeply passionate people from all corners of Bang & Olufsen that devote all, some or little of our time to pursue our vision. We have the freedom and maneuverability of a start-up, yet the muscle, knowledge and heritage of a 91 year old company. In essence, Create is an open platform on which we can do things differently. For us the process is the end goal and failing is a part of getting there. We aim to inspire and be inspired by the global creative community.

The Institute for Product Development & Innovation Management of the University Kassel is an interdisciplinary educational establishment. A task from a real company is given to a group of 3-4 different students of the fields economy, engineering and design. Together they create solutions, different scenarios and brand strategies based on the companys' task.

During her internship at the design department of Normann Copenhagen, Verena was included in all the different developing steps, beginning with the first sketches and ending with the serial production of a product. In permanent collaboration with the technical operators and the head designer, she developed different designs in the field of furniture, exhibition design and accessories. A few of the designs are already in production.

During her internship at Studio Aisslinger, Verena was in charge of the kvadrat showroom presented during imm 2016 in cologne. With a team of 4 designers and interior architects, she built an upholstered hut and created the showroom concept.

Research Project BeschäftigungszeitraumOkt. 2014–März 2015 Beschäftigungsdauer6 Monate During her studies at the School of Art and Design Kassel, Verena did an collaboration project with the company Braun. Based on an analysis of the brand, a research project was developed and a unisex-shaver was designed. www.braun.de
