Creation, implementation and leadership of the Global Programme Management team, worked directly with Kuehne + Nagel’s top tier clients, accounting for 20% of global turnover. Main scope; client retention and development via introduction of an expert Programme Manager for each industry vertical with a detailed understanding of customer requirements, business models and strategies. Result: The Programme Management team exceeded the income targets for 2012 and 2013 and were on track for 2014.

Responsible for leadership of Kuehne + Nagel’s corporate Bid Management Team, with global responsibility for tender responses to all strategic clients, via a total staff of 24 in 4 global locations. Major achievement was design transformation and implementation of the new global bid management structure, resulting in cost reductions and efficiency through restructuring and reducing the global team locations

Responsible for KN’s Retail Industry with specialist focus on implementation of KN’s Order Management Solution, working as industry spokesperson bringing client-related service and operational topics to the KN board. Result: Substantial cost savings of up to 30% on order and origin vendor management and logistics achieved for major retailers in US, UK and Australia.
