Analysis and management of histological specimens

Graduate research on the role of FMRP in cortical and synaptic development and the effects of its loss. Biochemical, molecular and imaging techniques are used to assess different neuronal properties.

- part time tutoring and demonstrating on undergraduate courses of the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh: assistance with problem based questions and practical lab work

- private tutoring in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics for students from secondary school up to A-levels (the swiss Sekundarstufe I and II)

- hands-on experience in applications of precious metal chemistry and electrochemistry - optimization of recycling processes for waste solutions containing precious metals (esp. Rhodium and Ruthenium) - production of precious metal electrolytes
