Responsible for the division Risk & Compliance in Group Audit. The division consists of 8 teams (over 60 specialists), that cover the following areas: - ICAAP-, Credit Risk- and Other Models - Liquidity, Market and Counterparty Risk & Models - Strategy, Sustainability & Capital Management (e.g. ICAAP) - Rating Systems and Operational Risk - Anti-Financial Crime (e.g. AML and Sanctions) - Markets Compliance - Client Lifecycle Management (KYC) and Customer Screening - Audit Americas (local team in New York)

Responsible for the division Risk & Finance in Group Audit. The division consists of four departments (around 50 specialists), that cover the following areas: - ICAAP-, Credit Risk- and Other Models (e.g. AI/ML models) - Liquidity, Market and Counterparty Risk and Models - Treasury, Strategy, Sustainability & Capital Management (also covering Pillar II requirements) - Rating Systems and Operational Risk (also covering Pillar I and III requirements) - Finance

Responsible for building and leading a team of 13 data analysts/scientists and up to 4 working students as well as managing the digitization as part of the transformation process in Audit, causing a significant increase in efficiency and quality. Core tasks of the team are: • digitization and automatization of audit processes • performing big data analyses • development of tools to support audit • text mining • support and maintenance of a Hadoop cluster section • training of auditors

• Lead auditor in different risk and compliance related areas with teams of 7-35 people and a budget of up to 1500 man-days. Covering i.a. the topics know-your-customer, anti-money laundering, sanctions and counter terrorism financing as well as communications and investor relations. • Senior auditor for overarching (risk) strategies and capital management topics such as reputational risk and ICAAP

• Senior auditor for overarching (risk) strategies and capital management topics such as risk data warehouse, data quality and data management, BCBS 239, market risk, liquidity risk • Participation in a ECB fire drill regarding BCBS 239

Junior auditor for overarching (risk) strategies and capital management topics such as risk reporting, capital management in the treasury, ICAAP and investment/participation management

Patent professional for German and European patent law: • drafting of patent applications • research of prior art as well as deep analysis of patents • legal training and achieving a certain level of legal expertise • preparation of and participation in legal hearings • preparing strategies for legal disputes

Nuclear Physics; detector setups; data analytics of experimental 'big data'; statistical analysis; C++ programming; problem solving; research

Experimental gamma-ray physics; in particular the study of electromagnetic transition strengths in rare Tin isotopes; data collection (what one would call 'big data') with several different detectors and analysis of that data (mainly in root/C++); for details see the corresponding publication
