Ing. Vittorio Palma

This role directly reports to the Sales Director Western Europe and consists of the commercial responsibility for direct customers (medium and big companies) and distributors of the Central - South Italy (from Tuscany and Marche southbound) ) and a Key Account Management activity with the customers having their headquarters in Turin (FCA, CNH Industrial, Avio Aero, Leonardo) and important manufacturing plants in the South of Italy.

This role directly reports to the Director Engineered Solutions EMEA and indirectly to the Managing Director Western & Southern Europe. It consists of the technical responsibility for all special products (customer specific) and projects (both for machine tool builders and end users) for Italy and Iberica with a particular focus on the integration of the Iberian team into the European Engineering structure. The team managed consists of 14 engineers (9 in Milano, 2 in Barcelona, 2 in Bilbao, 1 in Madrid)

Main activities of this role: technical decisions (process and tools); management of the people (work load, drawings release dates, performance evaluation, competence evaluation, remuneration); frequent meetings with customers and suppliers (simultaneous engineering e codesign); support to the manufacturing plant during the machine assembly, try-out and run-off.

Master Degree in Ingegneria Meccanica (Mechanical Engineering- 5 years) on 02/03/1995 at Politecnico di Torino with a mark 102/110. Passed on 23/05/95 the Official Examination for the Free Profession of Engineer with a mark of 83/90.
