• Led technical project management for an acoustic signature classification system (Colombian Navy), covering requirements definition, system architecture, engineering estimation, cost analysis, and stakeholder management across the full development lifecycle. • Delivered a Tactical Data Link system integrating real-time multi-sensor data across surface vessels, submarines, and aircraft, from requirements and architecture through integration, testing, and commissioning.

• Applied Multi-Objective Optimization and OMOE-based trade-off analysis to evaluate naval platform design alternatives, and support acquisition decision-making for the Colombian Navy. • Developed and implemented discrete-event simulation models (ExtendSim) to assess alternative ship designs across warfare scenarios, informing platform selection and capability trade-off decisions. • Designed and deployed an acoustic buoy system for boat detection and classification in maritime surveillance applications.

• Contributed to R&D of unmanned systems including UAV, USV, and drifting buoy development for ocean current measurement. • Designed electronics for underwater vehicles, including microcontroller programming for sensor data acquisition and control algorithm implementation.
