Vladimir Marinkovic

I worked with the team on building a web platform for insurance broker business from ground up. As a software developer I was involved in both programming infrastructural solutions as code base and designing domain levels of applications. Practicing DDD by evaluating, refactoring and applying those practices in the platform solutions.

I hold a position of a software programmer and a team lead. As a programmer, my daily work includes programming with Java SE within the development of Eclipse RCP plugins for building a customazible IDE. The project goal is to build an IDE for making simple Lua applications. The project working set includes Ecplise RCP platform, GEF editor and LDT plugins. As a team lead, I manage a small team of four parttime students.

During this internship I held a position of a parttime programmer. Main tasks involved literature research of algorithms and applying them in distance measuring techniques with time-of-flight cameras. Programming tasks contained work in implementing those algorithms in C routines that have been later evaluated on live equipment. Development included using frameworks such as OpenCV and PointCloud Libraries.

Development and maintenance of Windows desktop application for customer error reporting and contacting support. Development included using frameworks such as Windows forms and WPF.
