Investigate what Ubuntu Core is, how well it is suited for embedded devices, how hard would be to migrate customers' current solution to UC (package applications in snap format). Investigate how hard it would be to add support for Secure Boot (with OP-TEE) to the ARM board based on i.MX-6 SOC.

Develop real-time image acquiring system with guaranteed scan interval of 40ms using docker on linux. Help customer to resolve technical issues with real-time networking in linux, guarantee 0.5 ms round-trip time without packet loss for UDP packets.

Created architecture for media streaming solution (3000 - 40000 ft.) with full components breakdown, starting from hardware selection through protocols and supporting services (device inventory, session management, etc.) to media streaming core and enpoints (WebRTC SFU with fine SVC codecs selection, browser-based endpoints). Defined security vision for all parts of puzzle), TLS for all networking, integration with IAM. Created firmware image for units based on yocto linux.

Research on how to introduce low-latency NVMoF storage blocks into existing distributed parallel filesystem for use with AI/ML consumers. Provide off-wake profiling methodology for a critical component of a distributed parallel file system.

Created highly-available Lustre-on-ZFS shared appliances (Pangea) including the development of OCF resource agents and management of JBODs with SES. Re-created Exascaler HA architecture from the scratch to provide much more flexible, stable and robust solution. Created additional architecture (high availability) for bridge between Lustre filesystem and object storage. Designed architecture of a NAS gateway product to convert NFS/CIFS access to object storage semantics.

Architected and implemented performance tests for VPN multiplexer that utilized a VM approach and pacemaker’s remote nodes. Developed to scale to 65k VPN connections without requiring modifications. Architected and implemented connection testing suite for a VPN multiplexer.
