Designing innovative products from the first sketch to market introduction. By intelligently combining human, social and technological requirements, sophisticated products are created which ensure our clients’ long-term success.

While working for TomTom, Amsterdam, I developed designs of a diverse product spectrum, ranging from automotive and navigation tools to devices that compliment personal sports and lifestyle demands. Co-working with various experts in the specific fields was not only exciting, but taught me a lot; in particular to achieve an overall understanding of the manifolds aspects that together represent the whole process of creating a new product.

During my years at Toshiba, Tokyo, I designed products for audio-visual, as well as wearable and lifestyle business. I worked both on my own or as a team-player, depending on the project, and supervised several junior colleagues. While experiencing the Japanese work culture in a multidisciplinary environment, I was lucky enough to be able to discuss designs with my colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

At Coordination Berlin, my responsibilities ranged from designing public objects to creating interior environments; communication with clients as well as production monitoring was a vital part of my work.

Having moved to Tokyo the first time in 2008, I challenged myself and experienced the Japanese work environment as a freelancer. I collaborated in interior design projects and worked in several projects on home accessory product design.

Goodmorning Technology, a Copenhagen multidisciplinary design studio, offered me the possibility to gain my first experiences as a professional product designer, working on manifold projects such as stationary home accessories, packaging and medical equipment.

The career foundry course UX Design offered me the possibility to explore the whole process of designing a web app. The content included among others User-Centered Thinking, Usability Analysis, Information Architecture, Wireframing and Prototyping, User Flows and Testing, UI and Visual Design.

The groundwork of my professional career as a product designer was laid by my studies at the University of Design in Schwäbisch-Gmünd. This renowned institution connects current state of the art with long-established tradition.

My first studies at the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität Munich offered insights to the field of Sociology, focusing on interaction of people, localization & globalization, techniques & methods, psychology and statistics.
