With a team of quants and software engineers, built tools for algorithmic trading on European energy markets. Focused on auctions trading first, then on intraday continuous trading (SIDC). Worked with AWS, Airflow, GCP, Big Query. Worked with Volue and EnAppSys data. Build ETL pipelines, price impact models, backtesting engines. Worked in collaboration, pair programming, project planning and management. Participated in portfolio management, risk limit adjustments. Led hiring of another quant developer.

Led research and development projects at Max Plank Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam. With my team, developed Python/C++ software for numerical modeling of astronomical events. Wrote 5+ publications, released software packages, presented at international conferences.

As a part of international research team at FSU Jena, worked on numerical modeling of colliding stars. Later, led the project building python package for numerical modeling of electromagnetic emissions from those events. Burnished 4+ first-author publications, was invited to join a large, US-lead collaboration with several publications is very high impact journals. Defended with Magna Cum Laude with 3 years after starting. Left very good impression on my collaborations and colleagues.

Studied astrophysics and numerical methods at the Bonn University. Most courses completed with maximal grades. Last year of the program spent building atmospheric model for massive stars. Overall left a positive impression on my teachers and project lead and found research and software development tasks extremely rewarding. Learned how to communicate and unblock myself and others.
