Develop and implement the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) strategy (industrial, logistics, sales and marketing) to deliver strong sustainable and profitable growth, safely and at optimum cost, for Shell in Africa. Set targets, provide budget and drive performance improvements in cooperation with local General Managers. Pilot transition and set-up effective pan-African LPG organisation in a context of divestment of Shell downstream activities in the region.

As Country Chairman, safeguard Group reputation, effectively manage industrial relations and build quality relationships with government and key external stakeholders in a context of Country Exit. Lead strategy and operations for supply, manufacturing, distribution & marketing of Shell LPG in Sri-Lanka, with full responsibility for bottom line factors. Develop sustainable & profitable growth. Ensure compliance with Group HSSE standards & business principles. Attract, Retain & develop staff.

(Dimension: > $70 mln proceeds, 250 employees). Led the 2 Shell Gas (LPG) companies in Tunisia, with full responsibility for bottom line factors.

(Dimension: > $50 mln proceeds, >130 employees). Led the Shell Gas (LPG) company in Hungary, with full responsibility for bottom line factors.

In addition to the General Manager role in Hungary, led and managed the 2 Shell LPG companies in Vietnam with full bottom line accountability during a 3 months transition.

Designed and implemented Sales & Marketing strategy for Shell LPG in Asia-Pacific. Established Sales & Marketing objectives & plans per country and prepared region-wide sales/margin analysis and forecasts. Defined pricing strategy and oversaw major pricing decisions per country. Directed regional marketing organization, including cluster and national managers. Oversaw staffing and coaching of Sales & Marketing teams (>100 staff).
