Since January 2011, I hold the position of CTO and Vice President for all R & D activities of CompuGroup Medical US Provider Solutions. CompuGroup Medical US is the majority shareholder of the 3 Companies Noteworthy Medical Systems, Phoenix, Visionary Healthware, Tampa and CompuGroup South Carolina, Columbia (former HealthPort LLC). I am responsible for all software development activities at CompuGroup Medical US Provider Solutions and for the integration of international CompuGroup products.

At Noteworthy, I held the position of Vice President of Research & Development, being responsible for all software development activities at Noteworthy and for the integration of international CompuGroup products into the Noteworthy product suite. I also oversaw necessary adaptions to these products to fulfill the needs of the American markets in the area of ambulatory information systems. I led the development teams at the Noteworthy location in Phoenix, AZ, USA. Member of the Board.

At CompuGroup Software GmbH, I held the position of the general manager of the company. CompuGroup Software GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of CompuGroup Holding. The company is responsible for performing all new product software development activities in the area of doctors and hospital information systems for all associated CompuGroup companies (in total 70+ companies in more than 15 countries). At Tepe International, I held the position of the general manager of the company. I was also a member of the board of Tepe International. Tepe International is a 100% subsidiary of CompuGroup Holding. Tepe is one of the leading Healthcare IT companies in Turkey, developing, maintaining and selling Hospital Information Systems in Turkey and the Middle East Region and has a subsidiary in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I was responsible for all activities of the company.

Vice President of R & D for Clinical Decision Support for all other CompuGroup PM, EHR and Dental systems. This was a centralized, platform and product independent development for more than 50,000 customers (practices). Main technical focus was C/C++, Java and VB.NET. For our database system, we mainly used a light weight SQL database (SQLite) and for in-house applications MS SQLServer.

I was cofounder, co-owner and CEO of the company. A+R Consulting was specialized in software project business for database applications of all kinds. The main technical focus was VB Versions 5 and 6 and, as soon as it was available, Microsoft .NET (all Frameworks, focus on VB.NET which is still my preferred development language). For database systems, we mostly used MS Access, Oracle and MS SQLServer. My shares of the company had been sold in 2004 to one of my co-owners.

I was cofounder, co-owner and CEO of that company. The company specialized in software project business for industrial and military projects in the area of database applications, geographical information systems and the combination of both. Medical Information systems (dental billing systems, hospital information systems had been covered as well). The Company started with 2 employees and was sold in 1995 to CompuGroup Medical with 40+ employees. I was responsible for all areas of the company including sales

This was the first acquisition of PM and EHR systems for doctors of CompuGroup. I was CEO and co-owner of the company, being responsible for sales, R & D, support, implementation and training. The company started with 1000 customers and grew organically and through acquisitions up to 5,000 customers in 3 years. The company was later sold to CompuGroup Medical.

Computer Associates Germany is a 100% subsidiary of Computer Associates International, Long Island, NY. CA bought ISSCO in 1987. Technical Director of the Application Software Division (Computer Associates was traditionally in the Mainframe System Software business, by acquiring ISSCO they moved into Application Software business for the first time). Being responsible for sales support, installation, training and development (customization) for all Application Software Products.

ISSCO Germany is a 100% subsidiary of ISSCO International, San Diego, CA. This company was specialized on scientific and business graphical software for mainframe and minicomputers. I worked on a multitude of computers like IBM Mainframe, DEC/VAX and many others as field service engineer, trainer and developer. All development was done in FORTRAN. ISSCO Germany was responsible for the European, Asian and African Market.

Worked as a Medical Physicist, being responsible for radiation treatment planning and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly checkups of the radiation treatment equipment. In radiation treatment planning, also responsible for all dosage calculations for linear accelerators X-Ray treatment systems and nuclear medicine treatment systems (Iodine Therapy).
