I am responsible for the surveys' data cleaning from the STEPwise approach to noncommunicable disease risk factor surveillance.

My main task was the analysis of RNA-seq data from Arabidopsis thaliana plants infected by fungi. To accomplish this task, I implemented a workflow including salmon tools and the DESeq2 R package.

My main task was the isolation and identification of yeasts from grape musts. The wet-lab workflow consisted on preparation of grape musts (up to pre-fermentation), isolation of yeasts using serial dilutions and selective media. After culture purification, DNA was obtain from each strain to carry out sanger sequencing of the 16S gene and RFLPs of the region ITS1-5.8s-ITS2. Adittionally, biochemical and phenotypically methods were used. The obtained sequences were aligned using BLAST.
