(Entrepreneurial Venture) Shaped the consumer-facing businesses and products for this Web 2.0 start-up. Provided strategies for Business Development, Advertising and Marketing (including SEM). Special focus on Independent Music programs and Social Networking strategy.

Authored online product strategies based on business objectives, working directly with the Senior Vice President of AOL Programming. Defined product, marketing & advertising requirements. Oversaw the development of projects from concept through design, technical implementation, QA, and launch. • Properties included AOL Music, AOL Television, Moviefone, AOL Games, etc... Directed the migration of each destination to an open-standard, advertising-supported business model.

• Product strategist for AOL Television & Moviefone. Specialties included development of advanced taste-based recommendation systems, non-standard advertising opportunities, and electronic programming guides. • Director of the "AOL Devices" studio -- including mobile and non-PC products for America Online. Executive Producer of the fledgling AOLTV service. Managed the creative team, including graphic designers, writers/editors, and UI designers.

(Entrepreneurial Venture) Created User Interface design concepts and prototypes for the NetChannel interactive TV service. Specifically worked in next generation electronic program guides using data provided by TMS and Gemstar/TVGuide. Also: functioned as Executive Producer of the NetChannel service, directing the efforts of the creative and editorial teams in the ongoing programming of 12 content channels.

Authored applications using 4GL development tools, such as PowerBuilder. Some additional authoring in SAP. Assisted on Change Management engagements. Also: Designed and produced multimedia titles and interactive CDs for firm-wide recruitment efforts. Authored interactive sales materials for major engagements. Developed interactive training materials for in-house and clients, using Director/Flash.

(Freelance Venture) Worked as an independent contractor providing graphic design and editorial services for small businesses (primarily non-profits organizations). Clients included the Cleveland Historical Society, Cleveland City Schools, Cleveland Warehouse District, Ohio City Historical Society, and others. Designed and oversaw production of newsletters and special print projects, working with printers and mailing houses.
