Investigated hydrogen embrittlement of metals through simulations and testing with the: review of the compatibility of metals with hydrogen, investigation of hydrogen absorption and diffusion mechanisms, investigation of hydrogen embrittlement mechanisms, modeling of a hydrogen embrittlement mechanism, hydrogen charging of samples and carrying out uniaxial tests and ultra HCF tests. Performed subscale full-composite material combustion chamber after-firing damage investigations through CFD analyses.

Measurement of the mechanical properties of a copper-base alloy at very high temperatures, for very high load rates and with/without hydrogen: Mechanical tests with disc samples, measurement processing and data analysis

Modeling of a rocket first stage engine combustion chamber wall cooling channels with: material selection and characterization, modeling of its viscoplastic and cyclic mechanical behavior, Finite Element analyses, and investigation of hydrogen embrittlement of metals through testing.
