Wolfgang Emmer

Icebird Studios is the developer of the Submerge franchise and a joint venture of the two experience game devs Aesir Interactive and Bit Barons.

I'm working within a team to design, build and complete games for the PC/Mac/SmartTV and the mobile market. Areas of responsibility include time and team management, briefings, presentations, preparation of visuals and documentations, managing all external vendors, customers and partners of Aesir Interactive GmbH and maintaining a high degree of proficiency in all departments.

I'm advisor for a young technology based company in Munich Germany concerning gamedevelopment, gamedesign, workflows and pipelines.

I helped organizing and administrating the speakers for the Animago Award Conference 2013 in Berlin/Potsdam. I introduced the speakers and helped to get questions from the audience.

I was responsible for administration, community work, arranging tournaments and ladders. As ambassador for community relations and long term partnerhsips I expanded the relations from Germany to a bunch of countries all over the world. I learned to deal with different cultures and timezones and managed to create a multi cultural modding team.

The early access to database development supported my comprehension for programming in early years and enabled me to strenghten my skills as an project lead for games.
