* 4 patent applications and 1 paper in digital signal processing. * Design and optimized various digital signal processing algorithms in order to maximize performance and minimize resource requirements. * Supported the ASIC implementation of the WCDMA/HSPA+ downlink baseband receiver. * Coordinated the research of advanced receiver architectures and the evaluation of SDR (Soft Defined Radio) platforms for LTE.

* Software architect of the LTE eNodeB physical layer on a SDR platform, coordinating a team of 7 engineers in 2 countries, managing the project, supervising junior engineers and interviewing candidates. * Designed the system in a real-time embedded environment with hardware uncertainty, designed software interfaces and defined algorithms. * Implemented the LTE eNodeB downlink physical layer on a single DSP chip in software, which achieved 150Mbps data throughput.

* Implemented the beamforming algorithm for WiMAX on a chip having hundreds of DSP cores. * Optimized the SINR measurement implementation, improved its speed by 45% by paralleling the algorithm. * Optimized the channel estimation implementation, improved its speed by 22% by paralleling instructions. * Identified the bottleneck in the channel estimation implementation, sorted out the correct timing and buffer depth for co-processing between DSP cores, so that the speed was improved by another 33%.

Published 4 journal papers and 9 international conference papers. First to represent the characteristic functions of Rice and Hoyt distributions by confluent hypergeometric functions rather than sums of infinite series.
