 Customer-tailored product development to support regional sales team, covering different applications: structural, optical, flame retardant and functional films.  Systematic formulation design with DOE tools for middle & long-term marketing driven projects, in coordination with PolyOne's global R&D and marketing teams.  Product selection and portfolio management for PC, PC alloys, PPS and PEEK compounds.  Supervising 4 lab technicians.

 Technical care taker for global key project 'LED lighting' of BU Polycarbonate, responsible for formulation design and product scale-up of heat conductive polycarbonate compounds.  Other key projects: a. electric conductive and high modulus polycarbonate compounds; b. scratch and environmental stress cracking resistant polycarbonate; c. EMI shielding polycarbonate compounds; d. evaluation of coupling/dispersing agents for high-filled polycarbonates.
