- Closely work with customers to ensure their cloud architecture is successfully implemented upon Alibaba Cloud. - Create and present solution architecture designs to C-level/senior management. - Understanding the unique requirements of customers and partners, and provide appropriate technical cloud solutions and architecture designs based on Alibaba Cloud services. - Prototype development and testing Alibaba Cloud services.

- Develop the new Sophos cloud platform and its wireless security module using Java based technologies (Spring, Redis, Mongo); - Participate building Sophos Cloud-managed wireless security product line from scratch (https://www.sophos.com/products/secure-wifi.aspx); - Develop AngularJS based GUI with technologies including google map, d3.js, jasmine, etc.; - In-house DevOps and cooperation with dedicated remote DevOps team (AWS, console + CloudFormation)

Develop an intuitive and real time approach to monitor geotechnical sensing measurements for construction projects (namely the geomonitoring production line), whereby Java ecosystem is used as the development technology. Besides functionality development, with regards to the size of geomonitoring data, I am also responsible for design and implementation of large-data optimization solutions in code, database, and operating system levels.

As a developer and the architect of a RubyonRails based Cloud project, I am responsible for requirement analysis, conception documentation & presentation, solution proposal, research & prototyping of potential technologies, and implementation of core system functionalities. Meanwhile, I am also responsible for supplying project management supports for a 5-people team in Berlin, Germany and a 20-people team in Guangzhou, China in terms of scrum story creation, issue tracking and code/result review.

Design and implementation of a Java based distributed computation simulation software named the MaGate (sourceforge.net/projects/magate/) for the distributed computing research community; the MaGate has been downloaded for over 300 times according to the data from sourceforge.com by 2012. In total 15 peer-reviewed papers published, with the highest journal impact factor (IF 2010): 2.365 and two best paper awards. Serving in several scientific journal editorial boards and conference program committees.
