As a tutor, my responsibility is to facilitate the learning of upper secondary and primary students and guide them with their understanding of the subject. During my time with Edufirst, I have learnt how to communicate effectively with children and teenagers of different age groups in an academic setting. As some of the class size are larger for lower primary classes, I was also able to demonstrate my classroom management skills and ensure effective learning for all students.

The internship at MOE has equipped me with many skills. At the beginning of the internship, I was able to pick up basic classroom management and lesson planning skills from the course and class observations. Afterwards, I was able to plan and execute engaging lessons successfully. I also learnt different ways to assess students' understanding during lessons. As I was attached to both a P2 and P6 class, I was exposed to different age groups of students. Aside from teaching my core subjects (maths and English

volunteered as assistant teacher and worked first hand with differently abled children, primarily children with Autism

During my three weeks at JTC, I was attached to the New Estate Development department and to the Jurong Innovation District project specifically. I was exposed to the entire planning and execution process of industrial projects in Singapore.

During my two weeks job shadowing at Fabrica, I picked up many skills such as the basic wiring skills, soldering and how to operate tests on components of a machine using basic micromotion studio. I also learnt how to use fusion 360 for basic 3d model designing.
