SpreadShare started as a proprietary system trading company focused on cryptocurrency. In simple terms: trading crypto using algorithms. Although the trading went satisfactory, we required external investments to maintain positive cash flow. However, we were unable to find willing investors. I was responsible for developing applications, finding entrepreneurship mentors. legal and financial administration, and reaching out to potential customers.

After completing the bachelor project, EnergiePartners required Android developers for their product launch. I trained one of the cofounders at EnergiePartners in Android development and was one of the main driving forces behind the development of the app together

As a student assistent, I taught undergraduate students the principles of programming with a focus on Mobile Programming. My core responsibility was guiding the practicals in which students had to program in Xamarin (Android) and had to learn foundations of object-oriented programming using C#.

The OAC is a committee that monitors the quality of education within the bachelor Information Science. It consists of three teachers and students. The OAC primarily gives advice and might take other actions when necessary. I have been representing my fellow students since 2014 in the OAC.

Study association Sticky is a non-profit organisation that organises a variety of activities for her members, computer science and information science students at Utrecht University. As treasurer I am responsible for all incoming and outgoing money flows, tax accounting and the billing of sponsors. As board member I am also responsible for several committees and organising activities for the members of Sticky. Sticky has approximately 1250 members and a turnover of over €60k.

The Board of Department of Information and Computing Sciences consists of the chair, deputy chair, research director, education director (bachelor), education director (master), two secretaries and a student. The Board guarantees the quality of research and teaching, and gives direction to the research carried out by the academic staff. As a student member, I make sure that the interests of the students are taken into account with every decision the Board takes.
